Ahwatukee Board of Management / Community Swim & Tennis Center honored as Ahwatukee-Foothills


The Ahwatukee Board of Management has been chosen as the 2015 "Small Business of the Year" by the Ahwatukee - Foothills Chamber of Commerce.  We were presented with the award at the Chamber Day of Champions event held on February 12, 2016.  Each year, the Chamber recognizes small and large business, volunteers, and non profits who make an outstanding difference in our community.  We are humbled and honored to be chosen to receive this prestigious recognition considering the other wonderful community businesses also nominated. Our sincere congratulations to all nominees and recipients  for making a difference in our community!

                                                                              pleased to report that today, City of Phoenix staff are installing ADA compliant bus stops along 48th Street 
                                                                              between Elliot and Warner Roads.  This summer, city Adopt-A-Street volunteer and ABM Board member,
                                                                              Christopher Gentis, requested that ABM management contact the City regarding numerous issues he’s
                                                                              observed; street signs and poles in disrepair, severe landscape maintenance deficiencies, streets within
                                                                              Ahwatukee t
hat are long overdue for re-sealing and bus stops that do not serve disabled citizens.
on contacting Peter Fischer, ADA Coordinator for the City of Phoenix on July 7 he placed this project
                                                                              “on the fast track”,
working with both Parks and Recreation and Street departments.
